I recently received physical therapy (at the instruction of Dr. Williams) for my right shoulder at the Southern Orthopedic facility on Metairie Road and wanted to tell you that the team of therapists and staff could not have been more accommodating. The entire team was pleasant, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and at ease throughout my rehabilitation. I think it goes without saying that I hope I don’t have to see them again, but should I require physical therapy again in the future, I would gladly do so with the staff at Southern Orthopaedic.

Bless you, Dr. Williams, you absolutely unequivocally saved my life when you gave me my arm back. Every time I have benched 250 lbs., thrown any weight over my head, arm-wrestled, picked up my now grown kids, or performed some incredibly stupid feat of strength, I think of you. When I see the scar and how much damage you repaired, I think of you and your talent. God puts us where we’re supposed to be… Stay put, Doc!

I’ve given Dr. Williams 5 stars, and I do not take that lightly. I have been unfortunately enough to have seen MANY orthopedic surgeons in my life so far and I really believe Dr. Williams is one of the best. He takes to the time to explain the issues/risks/benefits and takes the time to vet any concerns. His support staff is fantastic as well. The results I’ve see far exceed expectations.

Dr. Ogden was unlike any other doctor I have ever met. Very down to earth and friendly, he talks to you like a person and not like a condition. He took his time to explain and answer question and it was like you were just talking to a friend.

In my experience, Dr. Todd is highly skilled at diagnostic and treatment planning together with me as a patient. He explains all options and their expected outcomes. His approach is confident, caring and focused on getting me to the highest level of functioning safely and with attention to maintaining function in the future. Brilliant and willing to listen. I have had excellent ortho care and not-so-excellent. To me, Dr. Todd is the real deal.

Dr. Millet did a hip replacement on me 4 weeks ago. It has truly been a very positive experience for me. Dr. Millet explained in detail what the procedure would be before and after surgery. His entire staff has been overly helpful in every way. I have seen a lot of physical therapists in my lifetime and I would highly recommend this team. I am already able to do things I haven’t done in years. I would highly recommend Dr. Millet and his team to anyone needing joint surgery.

Dear Dr. Finney, it has been almost 8 weeks since you provided me with a total left knee replacement. I am extremely satisfied with my new knee and attribute this to your skill as a surgeon. I would be remiss if I did not compliment your assistant Charlene, who promptly returned my phone calls and addressed all of my concerns. She handled everything to more than my satisfaction. Please pass along my appreciation to her as well as your entire office staff who helped make this procedure as easy and painless as possible. Where do I begin! Dr. Hoffman treated me for a left shoulder injury I sustained in a car accident. He was very straightforward with a great sense of humor. He explained my injury and we scheduled surgery. I am pain-free and the results have spoken for themselves. He was spot on when it came to knowing exactly what was wrong. His nurse is very helpful as well and is a sweetheart. They go above and beyond and made me feel like I was their only patient! Thanks for everything!

I especially wanted to let the doctors know what a wonderful physical therapist Chris Cronin is. His outstanding care was integral to my recovery. He is not only knowledgeable; he is sweet, encouraging, and extremely patient and understanding. During my 5 weeks of physical therapy I had an opportunity to observe the other therapists and the therapy assistants, and found them all very professional. It was clear that they truly care about the welfare and progress of their patients.
